  1. 1

Open a Google Sheet, Doc, or Slides presentation and click Extensions → FormCraft → Open FormCraft.

  2. 2

Choose the source you want to convert:

    • Use the current Google Doc or Slides presentation you have open.
    • Pick a PDF or image from Google Drive, or upload one from your computer.
  3. 3

Click "Extract questions". FormCraft reads the content and pulls out every question it finds, along with any answer keys.

  4. 4

Review the extracted questions and edit the text, options, types, or correct answers as needed.

  5. 5

Give your form a title, toggle quiz mode if you want it auto-graded, then click "Build form" to create your Google Form.

Troubleshooting

If some questions are skipped, check that the source text is clear and not embedded as a flattened image. For scanned PDFs, FormCraft uses AI vision — make sure the scan is legible and right-side up.
