HomeDrop Inc. — Google Workspace Add-ons

By accessing or using any HomeDrop add-on, website, or associated service (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, do not use our Services.

These Terms apply to all add-ons and tools published by HomeDrop Inc. ("HomeDrop", "we", "us", or "our"), including but not limited to Save Gmail Attachments, HomeDrop, and any other add-ons we may publish. Different add-ons provide different functionality and request different Google permissions, but all are governed by these Terms.

1. Description of Services

HomeDrop publishes Google Workspace add-ons that extend the functionality of Google Sheets, Google Docs, Gmail, and Google Drive. Depending on the specific add-on you install, our Services may enable you to automate tasks, process data, archive files, or generate documents entirely within your Google account. Your files, emails, and document content are never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

2. Google Account Access and OAuth Permissions

To function, our add-ons require you to grant access to certain Google services via OAuth. The specific permissions requested vary by add-on and are clearly presented to you on the Google consent screen before you grant access. Permissions may include reading Gmail messages and labels to identify emails and extract attachments based on rules you configure; accessing Google Drive to create folders and save files to locations you specify within your Drive; accessing Google Sheets to read column headers or write data to spreadsheets you designate; accessing Google Docs to read or write content within documents you designate; viewing your Google account email address to associate your subscription with your account; connecting to external services to validate your subscription status; and running on a schedule to execute background tasks you have configured.

Each add-on requests only the permissions necessary for its specific features. Google account data is processed in memory and flows directly between Google services. It is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

Our use of Google API data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You may revoke permissions for any add-on at any time by visiting myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking permissions will prevent the add-on from functioning but will not affect data already saved to your Google account.

3. Data We Store

We store the minimum data necessary to operate your subscription. This includes your billing email address, stored in Supabase for license validation and activation; your license key, stored for subscription activation; your subscription plan and status, stored for access control; and subscription period dates, stored for renewal tracking.

We do not store email content, attachments, Drive file contents, Sheets data, Docs content, or any data processed by your configured rules. All such data flows directly between your Google services and never passes through our servers. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.

4. Account Creation and Subscription

To access paid features of any HomeDrop add-on, you must purchase a subscription through our payment processor, Stripe. When subscribing, you agree to provide accurate billing information and keep it current.

Upon subscribing, you will receive an activation code by email. This code is entered in the add-on's billing dialog along with your billing email to activate your subscription.

Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically. You will not receive a new activation code on renewal — your existing code remains valid for as long as your subscription is active.

You may cancel your subscription at any time via the Stripe Customer Portal, accessible from within the add-on. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Each HomeDrop add-on requires its own subscription. A subscription to one add-on does not grant access to others.

5. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and your activation code. You must immediately notify us at support@homedrop.io of any unauthorized use of your account or subscription. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to violate any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation; violate Google's Terms of Service or Google API Terms in connection with your use of our add-ons; circumvent or attempt to circumvent any technical or access control measures we implement; interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services or related infrastructure; use the Services to process data you do not have the right to access or use; share your activation code with individuals outside your authorised account; reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Services; or use the Services in any way that could damage our reputation or the reputation of Google Workspace.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Services, including all intellectual property rights, are and will remain with HomeDrop and our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our name, logos, or trademarks.

You retain all rights to your own data including your emails, Drive files, Sheets data, Docs content, and any other content in your Google account. We claim no ownership over any content processed by our add-ons.

8. Third-Party Services

Our Services integrate with third-party platforms including Google Workspace, Supabase, and Stripe. Your use of these platforms is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices, availability, or content of these third-party services.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

We are not responsible for any loss of data including Gmail messages, Drive files, Sheets data, or Docs content arising from your use of the Services. We strongly recommend maintaining independent backups of important data.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall HomeDrop Inc., nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to, use of, or inability to use the Services; any conduct or content of any third party in connection with the Services; unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content; any interruption or cessation of the Services; or any bugs, viruses, or similar issues transmitted through the Services by any third party, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under or related to these Terms shall not exceed the greater of the total amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim or fifty US dollars ($50).

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless HomeDrop Inc. and its licensees and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses including but not limited to attorney's fees, resulting from or arising out of your use and access of the Services by you or any person using your account; a breach of these Terms; or your violation of any third-party rights, including Google's Terms of Service or applicable data protection laws.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, at our sole discretion, for any reason including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Data already saved to your Google Drive, Sheets, or Docs by our add-ons will not be affected — that data belongs to you and remains in your Google account.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect by posting the updated Terms on our website and, where reasonably practicable, notifying you by email. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
